ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose hill forts and series of palaces in the city offers students slices of Mughal splendor. This fascinating city with its romantic charm takes students to an epoch of royalty and tradition.

Ranthambore National Park is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern state of Rajasthan. Today the entire terrain is a major wildlife tourist attraction spot, spread over an area of 1,334 sq km along nearby sanctuaries like - the Mansingh Sanctuary and the Kaila Devi Sanctuary. This programme showcases the architectural brilliance of UNESCO World Heritage sites of Amer fort and Ranthambore fort to the students, takes them through its rich history and introduces them to the rich wildlife of Northern India through wildlife safari, exciting nature-based games and activities. Besides, students get to relish traditionally made Dal Baati churma and try the art of blue pottery.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Jaipur and drive to Ranthambore (Approximately 150 Km). Watch a Wildlife movie followed by orientation to the programme and lights out.

Day 2

Early morning wildlife safari- Explore the wilderness, watch mammals, birds and reptiles, if lucky sight the tiger! Note the animals you see in your field diary.
Drive to the UNESCO World heritage site of Ranthambore fort - former hunting ground for maharajas of Jaipur.
At the hotel, engage in wildlife and nature-based games and quizzes. Reflections and lights out.

Day 3

Visit the Rajiv Gandhi Museum of Natural History and later explore a centre that supports and promotes traditional Indian crafts by engaging local artisans.
Drive to Jaipur (Approximately 150 Km). Arrive by evening, reflections for the day and overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4

Discover the grandeur of Amer Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage site through a fort challenge activity.
Learn the ancient art of Block Printing and Blue Pottery.
Reflections session, talent night and Closure ceremony.

Day 5

See India’s only Egyptian mummy at the Albert Hall Museum. Delve into the ancient artefacts and coins from Gupta, Mughal, British and Delhi Sultanate periods.
Commence your return journey to your home city.
