Chandrashila, trek to the pristine Deoriatal high altitude lake, learn essential mountain skills and how to tread lightly on the mountains, minimize your impact, and appreciate the delicate balance of the Himalayan ecosystem. Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Dehradun airport and drive to the campsite near Srinagar. (Approximate distance is 108 Km).
Orientation to the trip, energizers, acclimatization hike(if time permits) and dinner.

Day 2

Drive to the campsite near Ukhimath (Approximate distance is 85 km).
Engage in an interactive fun team activity to deeply understand the 7 Leave No Trace principles.
Engage in a wilderness survival session
Wrap up the day with a lighthearted reflections session

Day 3

Trek through vibrant forests to a hidden emerald lake, Deoria Tal (Altitude - 8000 ft above sea level, Grade- Easy). Gaze at the majestic Himalayan peaks reflected on its still waters, and breathe in the crisp mountain air.
At the campsite, learn essential skills: rope knot tying, route mapping, navigation, etc.
After reflecting on the day's adventures, groove to lively tunes around the bonfire, igniting an evening filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Day 4

Drive in the early hours to the base of Mt. Chandrashila (Approximate distance is 50 Km).
As you ascend, witness the transformation of the sky from inky darkness to streaks of vibrant colors.
Try to spot Uttarakhand’s state bird - Monal on your way up.
Stop by at one of the highest Lord Shiv temples in the world at Tungnath.
Be rewarded with a breathtaking Himalayan panorama bathed in the golden hues - a truly unforgettable experience! Reach to the top of Mt. Chandrashila.
Gather around a crackling bonfire and share stories of your adventure with your friends

Day 5

Check out of the campsite and drive to Srinagar (Approximate distance is 85 Km).
Set out on a 12-kilometer white-water rafting adventure down the Alaknanda river. Navigate exciting rapids, paddle through scenic valleys, and cool off with refreshing splashes as you conquer this invigorating team activity. This thrilling ride is a perfect icing on the cake after your Himalayan ascent!
