Sample Itinerary

Day 1
  • Arrive at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary from Bengaluru (Approximately 136 km).
  • Set out on a boat ride, mandatory life jackets provided, to explore Karnataka's largest bird sanctuary along the Kaveri River. Engage in expert-led interactive sessions on diverse avian treasures.
  • Continue your journey towards Mysuru (approximately 19 km) to check into the hotel.
Day 2
  • Embark on a morning safari in Kabini or Bandipur National Park (approx. 60 km). Encounter diverse wildlife, such as leopards, tigers, elephants, deer, langurs, and macaques, amid rich flora and reptiles.
  • Visit an organic farm. Do weeding, planting and harvesting. Explore ways to make organic manure.
  • Do wildlife journaling, attend a wildlife talk and engage in wildlife storytelling.
Day 3
  • Embark on an adventurous hike to Kunti Betta peak. (Approximately 2882 feet above sea level) near Pandavapura.
  • Enjoy a delectable traditional South Indian banana leaf lunch.
  • Visit Mysuru Zoo (closed on Tuesdays). Learn about wildlife conservation, observe the model through which Mysuru Zoo converts its organic waste into biogas and vermicomposting and sends its plastic waste for recycling.
Day 4
  • Visit Mysuru Rail Museum (closed on Tuesdays) to learn about India's rail development, see the first Indian steam engine, explore vintage locomotives, and discover royal Maharaja carriages.
  • Set out for the second wildlife safari at Kabini (Nagarhole Tiger Reserve) or Bandipur National Park (Approximately 60km). Immerse yourself in the forests and uncover their secrets with the guidance of experts.
Day 5
  • Travel to Channapatna (Approximately. 85 km) to explore the renowned wooden toy industry and purchase unique toys and articles. Attend a short session on the history of the toy industry and the GI tag, followed by an opportunity for shopping.
  • Continue on your return journey to Bengaluru (approximately 68 km).
