08 30 AM: Report at the fort base. Introduction, safety briefing and completion of Covid 19 related procedures.
09 00 AM: Begin the trek and the fort ascent.
10 30 AM: Reach the top, relax for a while and begin fort exploration and other activities.
12 30 PM: Descend and return to the base
13 30- 14 00 hrs: Arrival at the base, see off each other and head back to your home.

What To Pack
What to Wear : Facemask is compulsory, walking shoes, earthy coloured and comfortable clothing
What to Carry : Comfortable backpack, Sun protection, refillable water bottle - minimum 2 litres, cap, sanitizer, lunch and other necessary items of personal nature.
Covid 19 related adherence: Mandatory social distancing, face mask and usage of sanitizer at frequent intervals during the programme.

1. Is it possible to reach the base by a car? What are the road conditions?
Yes, it is possible to reach the base by a car. The road till Malavali village is good but beyond that up to the base is a winding and average quality road.
2. Distance from Mumbai, Thane and Pune and parking provision?
The approximate distance from Mumbai and Thane via Expressway- NH4 is approximately 100 km and Pune is 65 Km via NH4. Cars can be parked at the base of the fort.
3. Availability of food?
Food is available at the fort base only and in Malavali village.
4. Duration of the trek?
The ascending duration from the base is approximately 1- 1.5 hours. The time required to explore the fort will range from 1-2 hours.
5. Public restroom provision?
None at the fort. If required, then participants will have to use the outdoors.
Winter temperatures range from 8 degrees to 30 degrees C and summer temperatures range from 18 degrees to 40 degrees C.
7. Phone network connectivity?
Network coverage for most of the operators is available in the region.
8. Who are permitted to trek?
Trekking can be done by anybody but as per rules mandated by district administration, participants below 10 years and above 65 years are not permitted to participate.
9. Required fitness levels?
Any person with good fitness levels can attemp this trek. Participants with medical conditions are required to take necessary precautions adviced by their medical practioner and are urged to mention it in the registration form.
10. Safety for solo women participants?
The trek is safe for women participants as our team comprises of male and female experts.
11. Safety provisions
The team carries a full fledged First Aid kit.
Trailblazers team are certified first aiders and follow a Standard Operating Procedure for every programme.
All Covid-19 related safety protocols are strictly followed.

13. Smoking and drinking rules?
Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited on all Trailblazers programme.
14. Leave No Trace policy
Trailblazers follows a Leave No Trace policy to promote conservation in the outdoors and participants are required to adhere to it. So the participants will have to bring back their trash generated during the trek to dispose it off appropriately.
