Summer Camp Summiteer Trailblazers Summer Camps are designed to offer your child an unforgettable summer in the month of May 2017. Your child will be away from his regular routine exploring new skills, developing leadership qualities, taking up various challenges, discovering closeness to mother nature, increasing self belief and independence of thought all in a fun way with the help of friendly, well trained and expert professionals from Trailblazers.

‘Trailblazers Summiteer’ is a Himalayan Expedition programme (Easy Grade) for people from age 18 and above and is designed to provide the thrill of Himalayan trekking while reaching the summit of Mt. Chandrashila in the state of Uttarakhand. The trekking provides a magnificent view of snow clad Himalayan mountain ranges including Chaukhamba peak, visiting wonderful places like Deoriatal, Chopta, Tungnath and Kund while exploring the hidden treasures of Himalaya. The camp provides accommodation in international quality tents and lodges, high quality transport, clean hygienic food with utmost importance to safety by well qualified friendly mountaineering experts.

Day 1 Arrive Dehradun by noon. Drive to Kund by road (Approx 190 kms). Acclimatisation and acquainting with the surroundings
Day 2 Kund to Deorital trek of 4-5 hours
Day 3 Deoriatal to Chopta trek of 4-5 hours
Day 4 Chopta to Tungnath trek of 4-5 hours and summiting Mt. Chandrashila. Head back to Kund and overnight stay
Day 5 Kund to campsite drive and white water rafting challenge for the group. Overnight stay in campsite
Day 6 Drive to Dehradun airport

Cost Includes:
  1. Content: Trailblazers expert team for the group to ensure high safety, more information and personal attention which are necessary to appreciate a trek. All our resource persons are professionally trained and have many years of relevant experience in guiding treks
  2. Travel: Transport by pushback 27 seater non-ac bus in Uttarakhand. The transport tariff includes all driver charges, fuel, parking, toll and taxes
  3. Accommodation: Accommodation in a deluxe mountain lodge in Kund on double occupancy/ triple occupancy basis (based on option chosen). The lodge has an absolutely fantastic location and very clean facilities and quality services. High quality Camping arrangements
  4. Facilities: We believe that roughing it out necessarily doesn’t mean sleeping in smelly sleeping bags, compromising on safety by using low quality equipment and having unappetizing meals. We focus on safety, basic comforts and the environment while camping.
    Keeping this is mind, the following equipment is provided on the trek:
    • 3/4 season imported alpine tents
    • Fresh and clean sleeping bags of very good quality
    • Good quality Camping Mattresses
    • Camping stools
    • Mess Tent
    • Toilet tents (2) with portable toilet seats
    • First Aid / Medical kit
  5. Food: All meals starting from Lunch on Day 1 till breakfast on Day 6. A lot of emphasis is given to nutritional needs and a menu of vegetarian dishes is prepared accordingly. Tea/coffee will be served throughout
  6. Safety: First aid kit (our team is certified in handling first aid situations). Swimming is not allowed as a part of safety policy
  7. Taxes: Service Tax @ 9%
Cost Excludes:
  1. Personal expenses: Personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, laundry, etc.
  2. Emergencies: Any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc.
  3. Others: Any meals/services not mentioned above. Any charges for video cameras, still cameras, etc. Alcohol, soft drinks, beverages, mineral water, etc.
